A message from TVT Mum in the UK
To all the members of Truth in Medicine speaking in this video. We want to say considering you are all suffering health issues and made this enormous effort to attend this important meeting we admire your bravery, strengths and determination to speak about your own experiences and to speak on our behalf with such diligence with true compassion and empathy to others. We are facing this dreadful journey Worldwide together.

We want to thank you for airing your stories publicaly to show the world the true state of affairs regarding the harms done to us all from these medical devices using (prolene) polypropylene synthetic mesh which is the source of the problem causing us to have devastating health issues for the rest of our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the sufferers at this present day and time.

As for all the other speakers in this video who are representatives from the Manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies, we advise everyone to listen to them and watch their body language, it says it all!

I pray the people who visit this website TVT Mum and the Truth in Medicine USA website will begin to understand this growing health problem throughout the world and will see how seriously our health has been affected from having this polyproplyene synthetic mesh implanted into us. We want to bring awareness and try and stop others from being harmed as the medical world are still implanting this mesh every single day into unsuspecting patients. It has to stop!

We were not told of the complications before surgery. We trusted the words from medical experts like any patient would do; thinking we are in safe hands with genuine sound advice. We honestly thought the medical experts knew and know what they are doing.

We did not feel we had to question the experts when we attended our appointments, we were told this is a new and innovative Minimally invasive surgery (a term used by the manufacturers and not by the medical world!) Our consultants said to us in around about way "this is the best thing since sliced bread" we believed them and really thought we were in safe hands receiving the best treatment. FAR FROM IT!

Please read throughout the website other stories, how the Governing Bodies are blinded by the manufacturers and the pharmaceutical companies regarding Cost and Profit instead of Patient Safety and also what YOU must do before you undertake any surgical treatment.

TVT Mum website is a work in progress, everyday something new is coming to light on the truth surrounding these raised issues. We are suffering with our health physically but our minds are clear and intelligent. We will continue to have immense strength, inner faith, determination and empathy to bring awareness on this dreadful scenario. We are here to give support and help to current sufferers throughout the world and will let them know they are not alone.

We are interested in hearing from other sufferers and from anyone healthy who may have a family member who is suffering and has been affected by this polypropylene synthetic mesh or anyone who would like to show their support sharing kind words to help us through this dire situation we are having to face every single day.
