We have been researching medical devices using polypropylene synthetic mesh since 2008. As you can imagine we have gathered a tremendous amount of evidence to prove these products are unsafe to use, we have become very diligent in our work to show the Governing Bodies here in the UK the MHRA – Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, NICE - The National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence and The National Health Service they all need to stop these surgical procedures immediately, there has been NO long term RCT's.

At this present time we do our own extensive research on this area as I was told from a Medical Professional and on good authority "the medical profession is actually very alert to surgical complications and sadly, investment in research into the area is not regarded as a priority by medical research funding bodies, which seriously hampers our ability to get a true handle on the situation".
