However, experts in the UK have urged caution. The Breform device is licensed in Europe but has not been approved by the U.S. Federal Drug Administration, considered the benchmark for the long-term safety of surgical procedures.

'Anything being put into the breast, such as an implant or mesh material, needs to be monitored for at least ten years to ensure it doesn't become harmful to the body over time,' said Mr Rajiv Grover, plastic surgeon and secretary of BAAPS.

Product: Synthetic Polypropylene String

May 2011 As seen on the ITV Good Morning Show and also an article appeared in the Daily Mail Online.

Start Abstract
Polypropylene string breast implants! did you see the woman on the Good Morning show? oh heck what a sight, what is man doing to us ladies!

Originally from Minneapolis, 35-year-old Chelsea had her breasts enlarged by means of a now illegal procedure in which polypropylene string was implanted into each breast. The material irritates the breast lining, creating a serum which enlarges the breasts, a process which could continue indefinitely. Chelsea has added she would eventually have her breasts reduced and the polypropylene removed. But at present they are still growing at a rate of one inch a month. Chelsea explained to a shocked Ruth and Phillip: 'Most of the other girls who have had this procedure have stopped at some point so I’m just waiting for that to happen.' End Abstract

My Comment: I am wondering if this is the reason why most of us have swollen stomachs!!!! like we are pregnant looking.

Another Comment: That breast situation is terrifying and yet again, it shows the danger of PP in the body - surely that in itself is enough evidence to stop the material being used in the body. What are these doctors doing to us?!

Another Comment: I think you are absolutely right about the swollen tummy depite weight loss it still remains it would make perfect sense wouldn't it really.
