TVT Mum Support Group in the UK
TVT Mum is a voluntary non-profit charity organization in the UK to give help and support to men and woman who are experiencing severe health problems and complications arising from the medical devices Trans-vaginal Tension Free Tape (TVT), Tension Free Vaginal Tape Obturator (TVT-O), TransObturator (TOT) and other medical devices using surgical polypropylene synthetic mesh for hernia's, prolapse, stress urinary incontinence and other bladder and bowel disorders.

Breakthrough News
In the UK and in the USA this is a recognized 'Hidden Disability' - Confirmed Medical Condition UK: 'Chronic TVT/Mesh Implant Inflammation' and in the USA: 'PFS Syndrome'. I asked Mr Drake on the 3rd of November 2011 for his opinion about our 'hidden disability' we can't keep saying we are 'mesh sufferers' as this is not really recognized. I have authorization from Professor Marcus Drake we can use this medical condition term in the UK 'Chronic TVT/Mesh Implant Inflammation'. The charity was founded in 2009 by Lorraine Evans who is a sufferer of TVT she has helped many people affected by these medical devices. Some sufferers who have joined the support group have become volunteers to help the charity. TVT Mum online support group forum has helped many through this difficult time coping with their health issues and with their daily lives. Our first priority is to find experienced surgeons in the UK who can help with mesh related complications.
