The One Show BBC Wales

Dated: 8 April 2015

I’m a researcher for BBC One’s The One Show and am currently looking into the possibility of filming a short item for the show which would explore the concerns regarding tape and mesh implants.

As I am in the early stages of research I am trying to find out as much as I can about this issue, and I would be very grateful for your help with this.

I am interested in speaking to women who have experienced adverse effects following the procedure, as well as clinicians involved in this area of surgery, to hear their opinions.

At the moment, this would just be a telephone chat with no further obligation to be interviewed on camera.

If you would be willing to speak to me about your experiences I would be grateful if you would telephone me on 02920 322940. I can always phone you straight back to save your telephone bill. Alternatively, please email me your telephone number and let me know a good time to call you.

Many thanks and best wishes,
